This year is Plečnik's year, when we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of architect Jože Plečnik. The Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia ZAPS invites you to a series of visits to its architectural works in Ljubljana. Experts of various disciplines will illuminate the architect’s work as they see it through their own eyes. We will meet in the city before the summer and then again in the fall, each time on Thursdays at 6pm.

In the first guide, on Thursday 26 May at 6 pm, the architect Peter Gabrijelčič will present Plečnik's attitude towards architecture in more detail, with an emphasis on construction concepts. The starting point will be in the French Revolution Square, in front of the Napoleon monument.

Participation in the guided tours is free of charge because the events fall under the auspices of the Plečnik Year.
